Esther B. Kahn, an innovative educator, philanthropist and patron of the arts established this Charitable Foundation in 1998 for the purpose of supporting and funding innovative approaches to education, the arts and medical research.
Mass Cultural Council supports arts, sciences and humanities in various ways across the state. CCC receives funding each year through STARS residency grants to work with the Cambridge Public Schools.

A partner in the annual STEAM Conversation event each April aligned with the Cambridge Science Festival to highlight the integration of arts and sciences to foster creativity.
Collaborator on an 8-week after school program at Gately Youth Center to bring arts-based projects led by local teaching artists and scientists to middle school youth.
The Cambridge Arts Council provides on-going support and connections within the community
CCF contributed the much needed seed money for the pilot program and beyond as well as leadership in fundraising.
